Looking for a fun way to get your child moving? Look no further than the Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run which hosted more than 3100 youth in 2018. The event is a great way to reinforce the importance of physical activity and allows youth to see first hand how fun it is to participate in large scale fitness events.

The Youth Run has become a family affair, attracting runners 15 years of age and younger of all fitness levels to come out and Giv’er on the streets of Halifax on the May long weekend every year. Participants can choose between two unique distances, 2KM or 4KM, which showcase some of the finest sights in Halifax including Citadel Hill and the Halifax Commons.

The Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run is an untimed event, which ensures that the runners focus on what’s most important: being fit and having fun! They’ll finish off the day with a shiny new medal around their neck and a strong sense of pride and accomplishment.

Give your child the gift of experience and register them for the 2018 Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run – after all, more than 3,000 of their peers will be there!

PS: Did you know that more than 17,500 kids from 220+ schools in Nova Scotia participate in Kids Run Club each year? Many of those runners show up at the start line at the Doctors Nova Scotia Youth Run to celebrate their training.
